Bridging Finance is one of the success stories of the last decade with the latest figures1 showing the market has tripled in size since 2007 and is now worth an estimated £5 billion.

However when I’ve spoken with many of you about Bridging Finance, one of the things you’ve told me puts you off applying for a short-term loan is that you don’t know how much your customer could borrow without having to complete a DIP first.

As a result of this feedback, I’m excited to announce the launch of our online Bridging Calculator which can give you an idea of what’s available to your customer in a few seconds. No more waiting for a DIP to be processed, you can now get an indication in less than a minute – saving you and your customer time, which is obviously key for a product where speed is so often of the essence.

But don’t just take my word for it, why not find out how quick it is for yourself by clicking here?

The calculator is simple and easy to use. Just answer a few questions and you’ll be able to compare lots of different scenarios. To make it even easier to complete, when you hover over boxes you’ll receive ‘tool-tip’ prompts, helping you understand exactly what information we need.

If you decide to progress a case and need a little more assistance, you can contact your preferred packager or, alternatively, one of our Premier Bridging Panel who are on-hand to help you with your application.

I need to mention that the calculator is for illustrative purposes only. It’s only an indication of how much your customer could borrow; it’s not an agreement to lend. If you want to progress the case, you can easily submit a DIP for a full assessment or speak directly to one of our Bridging underwriters.
